My art is influenced by the peace, strength and beauty of my environment. I create with the intention of creating an image that will invite the viewer into contemplation and the quietness within. Over the years I have transitioned from creating large fabric pieces for public spaces to small paintings for personal spaces. I love the softness and directness of pastel and more recently the buttery vividness of oil point. I paint in my home studio in Taos, New Mexico.
